Off the Shelf: January 2012

As it is now almost the end of January I thought I would bring you up to date on how I am progressing with the Off The Shelf challenge.

As of today here are the books that have now moved from the unread section of my bookshelf to the read and enjoyed section.

Snuff – Terry Pratchett
The Hunger Games – Suzanne Collins
Catching Fire – Suzanne Collins
Mockingjay – Suzanne Collins
How to Practice – The Dalai Lama

This is a total of 5 books read from my target of 15 for the year.

I’m happy with the effort to date.  Having The Hunger Games trilogy in the mix made it quite easy, of course.  February may be a bit quieter as I have a few library books to go through, and some books to read for reviewing on the 1001 Books to Read Before You Die blog but I will be back on to the unread shelf once I’ve worked my way through those.

Oh, and if I can get my thoughts together, I will post a review of The Hunger Games as it is likely to become quite topical shortly.

    1. Yes, Terry Pratchett is terrific. I’ve been a fan for twenty years now. (Did I just say that out loud?)
      *Ahem* moving right along…

Welcome and thanks for stopping by.
