A Confederacy of Dunces – John Kennedy Toole

Once again I come forward to redirect you over to 1001 Books.

Today my review is the Pulitzer Prize-winning A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole.  I did a bit of a prequel here while I was reading it, as I needed to share just how much I was enjoying it.  You can now see the final verdict over at t’other blog.

While I’m on Pulitzer Prize winners, I’m just starting out with John Steinbeck and as synchronicity would have it this post over at Brain Pickings crossed my path.  It was of interest as I am trying to improve my own writing and reviewing style.
The article then led me on to this post and the most wonderful letter written to his son in 1958.   What a thoughtful, caring and uplifting view of love.

Enjoy !
