The days are long, but the years are short.
– Gretchen Rubin*

Never were there truer words spoken.

On August 17th, 2007 we were blessed by the arrival of our darling daughter.  Today she turns 5.  I have no idea where those years have gone, but they have left us with a beautiful, clever, curious and wonderful five year old girl now.

You are my light, my challenge and my ever-changing chameleon child.  I love you to bits.
I cannot wait to see where the next five years takes you my darling.   As the wonderful Dr.Seuss says,

You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself any
direction you choose.

I am looking forward to the next part of your journey.

With all the love in our hearts, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Miss Oh.

  1. A big happy 5th birthday to your little lady! Wow, what a big milestone 🙂 Hope she has a wonderful day (this day is the BEST for birthdays!) xx

  2. Happy Birthday Miss Oh – a very special birthday indeed. Hope you had a fantastic day with a meal picked by you to round out the day 🙂

  3. Thanks ladies.
Miss Oh had a very nice day. Pancakes for breakfast, presents, birthday cupcakes (candles & singing included) at daycare, scootering home in her fairy outfit with Dora helmet on her new scooter and her choice of dinner (Miss Picky Eater chooses shahi paneer – go figure).
