So, here’s the part of blog that deals with all that money stuff.
Let me be clear before we begin, I don’t blog to make money, I blog for my own pleasure. I have an income from a regular job. This is my creative hobby.
Hosting a blog costs money however, so I’ve decided that it’s time to open Oh Waily Waily up to the possibility that it might, in time, cover some running costs. Maybe. Perhaps.
So, here is a brief explanation of how that is currently going to work.
- I’m not in the business of recommending stuff I don’t use, love or find helpful. Life’s too short.
If I am raving about something here, it’s because I really think it’s worth your time. Any reviews, paid or otherwise, will be my honest opinion. I don’t alter my behaviour to generate product or service links or payments. That’s not cool.
- Any affiliate links that show up on posts or pages, or in small sidebar or footer ad spaces are for services that I use. The two that you will see most often are: Book Depository and Audible; but there may be others over time as I find new products or services that I love, which also have affiliate programs.
- And because I LOVE Audible audiobooks, and use Kindle e-books, it should be no surprise to find that I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for me to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.
